Here's a little preview:
14-year-old Heath Lambert is spending his summer at Camp Harmony in the picturesque Cascade Mountain Valley. It's the perfect place to enjoy the soothing calm of nature as he weighs a heavy decision. The camp offers distractions: his friends, Cricket and Dunbar, always up for trouble; his reluctant crush on Emily, one half of the beautiful Em & Em Twins; and hulking bullies Thumper and Floaties, who are determined to make him their punching bag for the summer. But no one rattles Heath like his creepy cabin mate, Will Stringer. Brilliant, cold and calculating, Will views the world as one big chess game, and he's always three moves ahead of everyone else.
I read an ARC and it was amazing, you guys--here's my Goodreads review if you want to take a look.

And that's me and these Chinese squirrels on my head!
Time to reveal a secret. On the day my book finally hits the streets this post was the thing I was most excited about. Like Christmas morning! I'm grinning like a rabid Cheshire cat. Some thoughts:
ReplyDelete1). Elvis' tail is a blur. He's wagging it a little too hard considering what he just did. Dial it down a notch, Elvis. Not cool, dude. We need Lauren alive to sell our books and keep us sane.
2). MAN, Valerie Cole has amazing hair!
3). One of you actually owns squirrels. Have I taught you nothing, Monica? P.s. Thank you for hosting this! It's awesome!
4). Dana, wherever you live, you should move away. Like, today. I assume you're near a nuclear power plant.
5). I love my agency sisters and our fearless leader. These are all amazing and hilarious! Thank you! Day = made.
Bwahaha! Yeah. Those are my 9yo's Chinese squirrels--his grandma gave him those for his birthday and I was like NOOOooooOOO. Squirrels bite! LOL. No one listened to me, though. :P
DeleteAnyway! YAY! So excited that your book hit the shelves, Robert! :D It's an awesome book. Thanks for sharing your secret with us--that made me *grin*
Congrats Robert! Mine is sitting on my kindle now mocking me waiting for Fast Draft to be over. :)
ReplyDeleteI want a copy! ME! ME! I have to get a copy. We have so many squirrels it is scary. They chew through our ultra-strong outdoor trashcans. *shiver*
ReplyDelete1). Elvis is the Patrick Bateman of dachshunds.
ReplyDeleteThese pictures are awesome! And yes, Robert,LOL, I do live near a nuclear power plant, San Onofre (the famous duo in Naked Gun.) So excited for this book.
ReplyDeleteCongrats, Robert! Feels like we have been waiting for this book FOREVER. It is on my Kindle as we speak--can't wait to get to it tonight.
ReplyDeleteYou are all adorable in a twisted way. Love those Chinese squirrels Moni! And I can't wait to read your book, Robert!
ReplyDeleteCan I just say, lovin' the character names in Frenzy. Especially the bad guy, or maybe I'm just partial cuz it's similar to the bad guy's name in my book. I never knew there were so many ways to turn cute fuzzies into scary monsters. Ahh!
ReplyDeleteI am laughing my head off right now. What a super sense of fun you all have! Congrats to Robert!
ReplyDeleteLOL! LOVE those pics. Congrats to Robert! :)
